one thing that i can't get used to here is the different work week.
the work week is from sunday-thursday.
friday and saturday is the weekend and almost everything is closed on saturdays for shabbat.
it's kind of annoying that things are closed on saturdays, but it'll be the perfect day to go to the beach in the summer.

i just can't get used to the fact that you have to go back to work on sundays. it screws with my head. i'm always a day off.



the graffiti here is awesome.
every day, i pass by something that makes me stop and stare.

this morning i packed up a few cameras, and set off on an adventure. i tried to get lost and find my way home, but i ended up in the exact same place that i tried to get lost in last time.

i ended my day on the boardwalk watching the sunset with my roommate.

i hope everyone at home is enjoying the snow. i sure am enjoying rubbing it in.

this week we started ulpan.
four hours a day, five days a week for 2 weeks.
after the intense 2 weeks is over, we only go twice a week for 2 hours.
it's been a loooong week.
aviva, my teacher, ONLY speaks in hebrew and jumps around from subject to subject. on our fifth day, we finally got her to finish teaching us the alphabet.
i really really despised it for the first few days, but now it's starting to grow on me. i think i'm finally getting it.
finally.

the weather has been pretty shitty this week.
when i say shitty, i mean 50 degrees and WINDY.
i know, i know..its snowing at home so i can't really say that it's shitty.
but this is my blog and i can say what i want.
